What is the Detroit Tigers Foundation?
The Detroit Tigers Foundation, a non-profit organization, is the official charity of the Detroit Tigers. The Foundation assists charitable and educational causes in Michigan with an emphasis on programs that benefit children and youth in Detroit through the game of baseball. The Detroit Tigers Foundation is affiliated with the Ilitch Charities for Children, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
