From their website:

Established in 1957, YAI/National Institute for People with Disabilities (NIPD) is an award-winning, not-for-profit health and human services agency for people with developmental and learning disabilities. We are firmly committed to helping the people we serve achieve their fullest potential for independence, individuality, productivity and inclusion in their communities.

YAI/NIPD provides Residential Services, Employment services, Day Services, Rehabilitation and Mental Health Services, Health Care and Home Health Care, Recreation and Camping, and Family Support Services to people with developmental and learning disabilities throughout New York City, Westchester, Long Island, Rockland and Orange Counties, New Jersey, and Puerto Rico.
